Rand-o-matic for iPhone  ·  last updated 21 September 2026

The short version

Rand-o-matic collects nothing, sends nothing, and has nowhere to send it to. There is no account, no server and no analytics. Your lists are yours, on your phone.

What the app stores

The lists you make, the options you type into them, and the record of which option was picked. All of it is saved on your iPhone, in the app's own storage, and none of it leaves the device.

What the app sends

Nothing at all. Rand-o-matic makes no network requests of any kind — not to the developer, not to anyone else. It has no sign-in, no sync and no “phone home” on launch. It behaves identically in airplane mode, which is the easiest way to verify this for yourself.

Analytics, advertising and tracking

There are none. No analytics or crash-reporting service, no advertising identifier, no third-party SDKs of any sort. The app never asks for permission to track you, because there is nothing to ask about.

Permissions

The app requests no permissions — no contacts, no location, no photos, no notifications, no microphone.

Backups

If you back up your iPhone to iCloud or to a computer, your lists are part of that backup, exactly like any other app's data. Those backups are handled by Apple under Apple's own privacy policy. The developer has no access to them, and no way to read them.

Deleting your data

Delete an option or a list inside the app, or delete the app from your iPhone, and it's gone. There is no copy held anywhere else — no server to write to, no account to close, and no request to send anyone.

Children

The app collects no personal information from anyone, of any age.

Changes to this policy

If a future version ever changes what the app does with your data — adding optional iCloud sync, for instance — this page will be updated before that version ships, and the change will be called out in the App Store release notes.
